So I thought my laptop had finally been fixed and I was so excited to be catching up on all my work but alas, last night the blasted thing broke down AGAIN with the same problem.
I repeatedly told the guys at the workshop the problem was with the backlight but they decided to replace the keyboard and other unrelated parts instead. How do these people get jobs? I mean they’ve messed me about no end - first my charger short circuited earlier this year. It needed replaced so naturally they ‘forgot’ to process my order, setting me back an extra 10 days waiting time. Then the backlight problem started and everything was taken off to the workshop twice.
All in all I’ve been without proper use of a computer for the best part of 3 months – its ridiculous, no other word for it!
I was so fed up today I complained my ass off in my local branch and ended up with a brand new laptop and an apology. Guess all’s well that ends well.
